We have recently upgraded our website. Vouchers purchased on the previous site no longer work but are still valid. Please e-mail or call the food school to place your order confirming your code or the purchaser's full name or e-mail.

Consumer Cooking Classes and Demonstrations

1. Payment

Payment is 100% at the time of booking. Payment options include online using credit or debit card and via PayPal. Customers can also call the Food School to pay by card or visit the Food School to pay by cash.

An order is deemed to be confirmed when payment is received in our account.

2. Order Communication

Communication regarding the class/demonstration will be sent to the email address as stated on the order. The purchaser is responsible for ensuring any emails relating to a class are read and acted upon and, as appropriate, forwarded to the attendee of a class if the purchaser is not the attendee.

3. Cancellation ( by purchaser)

This cancellation policy covers both direct class bookings and gift vouchers.

If you wish to cancel a booking we require notification, by phone or by email, not less than 21 days before the date of the class booked. Once notified we will a) arrange a full refund or b) transfer you to a class of your choice by payment of a supplement if the cost of the chosen class is higher or carrying a credit for another class if the cost of the chosen class is lower. We cannot guarantee that places will be available for a chosen class. The class should be chosen at the time of cancellation from the schedule of classes on our timetable.

No refund or transfer will be given within 21 days of a class. Customers may however nominate a replacement to attend the course in his/her place.

4. Cancellation/reschedule ( by Harborne Food School)

If we cancel a class or reschedule the date you will be offered the choice of an appropriate alternative or a full refund.

If you purchased the class using a voucher and opt for a refund, we will refund the purchaser of the voucher.

We regret we cannot refund any other costs incurred, such as pre-booked accommodation and travel.

5. Participation in classes

Harborne Food School will be under no liability for any loss, injury or damage to course participants or their property, whether in respect of any neglect, act or omission by the school, its agents or employees.

Of particular note, participants are responsible for a) informing the Food School in advance of the class of any allergies or dietary restrictions b) heeding the briefing on hygiene and safety matters given at the beginning of each class
