Harborne Food School Welcome to Harborne Food School. We offer cookery classes, professional chef demonstrations and unique food experiences in our beautifully designed cookery school within the Grade II listed Clock Tower building on Harborne High Street, Birmingham. Our facilities are ideal for cooking classes, cooking demonstrations, food focus groups, food related training, private parties, private dining, team building and corporate events.

Peruvian food is an enticing mixture of influences – Spanish, Japanese, North African and Creole blended with Incan flavours to make a  unique cuisine. In 2013, Alain Ducase declared Peru as ‘one of the leading actors on the global culinary scene’. A new wave of Peruvian restaurants gained popularity over the past five years and people now travel to Peru to visit the restaurants as well as the Inca trail.
In this class you will learn to make a selection of signature dishes including;
  • Aji de Gallina  ( Spicy creamy chicken )
  • Solterito (Peruvian salad with tomatoes, broad beans, corn and onions)
  • Peruvian Croquetas  with Huancaina cheese sauce
  • Anticuchos ( Chicken skewers )
This Masterclass will be led by London-based chef Fabricio Cano. Fabricio is a Peruvian native and has worked at high profile and Michelin starred restaurants in Peru and Europe. He is currently teaching at several London cookery schools also provides food styling and food development services for publishers and food companies in the UK.
You will eat lunch and a final meal of the food prepared served with a glass of Chilean wine.
