The ‘Day of the Dead’ is a Mexican family festival celebrated in memory of friends and family who have died. Remember the opening scene of the James Bond film, Spectre? We aim to re-create that festival spirit at the Food School.
The session will kick off with the preparation of ‘pan de muerto’ translated literally into ‘bread of the dead’. You will then prepare a typical Mexican brunch which will be served with a mezcal cocktail.
The afternoon will be spent preparing Mexican streetfood including tacos. Tequilla will be served at the end of the session. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
