Our Thali Thursday cooking classes are ideal for lovers of Indian food and a Friday night Balti who want to learn the basics of Indian cooking.
A thali is platter used to serve a variety of Indian dishes including a dal, a rice dish (eg cumin rice), one or two vegetable mains, a yoghurt side (raita), chapati and a dessert.
You will learn how to use spices such as turmeric, garam masala, cumin and coriander and when to use ground or whole spices.

- Aloo gobi (potato and cauliflower)
- Channa dal (yellow split pea lentil)
- Chaat salad
A glass of wine or beer will be served with a final meal of the food produced.
