It’s January and you may be cutting back food consumption to deal with seasonal excess. STOP! There is one thing you can eat lots more of VEG. In this class we celebrate vegetables and take them off the side-plate and serve them up as a main. And we serve them in abundance. Why? Because veg is great for you. Whilst Scientists and Doctors argue over fats, carbohydrates, proteins there’s one thing we can all be sure of: Eating veg is totally and utterly on trend, healthy and (if you attend this class) ridiculously tasty. Quite simply, this is a life changing class.
In winter chard, leeks, savoy cabbage, Jerusalem artichokes, sprouts, parsnips, spinach, sprouting broccoli and cauliflowers are all dying to party on our plates. You’ll create a selection of dishes incorporating winter veg.
Sample Menu (prepared during the Winter 2018 session)
- Turkish Squash, broccoli, feta and almond salad with harissa
- Roasted Vegetable Coconut Curry
- Kale, spinach, pomegranate and walnut salad
If you’re trying to convince a family member to eat more veg, then invite them for the final meal and share the food you prepare for a £10 supplement. Food is typically served around 9.00 pm and includes a glass of wine.
