A truly unique experience. In this class you will learn to make Chinese pancakes, dumplings and Chinese afternoon tea.

You will enjoy a brunch of Chinese pancakes and a lunch of dumplings and sides. The session will end with a typical Chinese afternoon tea.

Lei will guide you through the preparation of Chinese jianbing - crunchy, savoury pancakes. This includes dough preparation with a variety of flour options.

Following brunch, Lei will explain the history of dumplings and their importance in Chinese culture. You will receive 'step-by-step' instruction from making dough, rolling the wrappers preparing the filling, wrapping the dumplings and using different methods of cooking dumplings. Lei will demonstrate the preparation of a variety of dipping sauces and side dishes to accompany the dumplings.

In the afternoon you will be introduced to Chinese sweet culture and learn to prepare walnut cookies. Whilst the cookies are baking, Lei will demonstrate sesame and peanut snaps. You will then then find out about Chinese tea including preparation and equipment used. At the end of session you will enjoy two types of Chinese tea with the traditional sweet treats prepared.
