Nong is originally from Chiang Mai and has been offering private cooking lessons in her home since arriving in Birmingham 15 years ago. She was recommended by previous customers and we had the pleasure of booking her for a private function at the Food School earlier on this year. Nong says the secret to Thai cooking is fresh ingredients, no salt, no MSG and a very sharp knife 'I've never visited an English kitchen with a truly sharp knife'. She was pleased with ours! Nong also prefers wooden chopping boards but, as we are a Food School we stick to the multi-coloured variety.
