Discover the art of home-style Punjabi Indian dishes with Lajina Masala. This session will focus on popular non-veg dishes. In the morning you will learn to prepare tandoori chicken or chicken tikka and lamb kebabs which you’ll eat for lunch with Lajina’s special salad and a glass of specially selected wine or Indian beer.
In the afternoon, you’ll perfect the art of making biryani which you will take home to share with family and friends. Biryani is a mixed rice dish incorporating chicken, mutton, beef or fish. Some historians believe it was developed in the Mughal royal kitchens – a fusion between the spicy dishes of India and pilaf of Persia.
Although we adapt most of our courses for vegetarians, this course is really only suitable for meat and fish eaters. Thali Thursday and other Indian cooking classes are suitable for vegetarians.
