Harborne Food School Welcome to Harborne Food School. We offer cookery classes, professional chef demonstrations and unique food experiences in our beautifully designed cookery school within the Grade II listed Clock Tower building on Harborne High Street, Birmingham. Our facilities are ideal for cooking classes, cooking demonstrations, food focus groups, food related training, private parties, private dining, team building and corporate events.

Chefs:

Executive Chef Tutor Charlotte Pike, travels the world  for culinary inspiration. She recently visited Morocco which inspired this class. Moroccan cuisine combines the flavours of Andalucía with those of Arabic and Mediterranean cuisine.

Sample Menu

  • Lamb and prune tagine (demonstrated)
  • Pastilla (a Moroccan pie) made out of chicken, date and ras el hanout
  • Moroccan orange cake with orange, date and mint salad

Vegetarians

  • Chickpea tagine served with couscous
  • Carrot and orange blossom salad/aubergine salad
  • Moroccan orange cake with orange, date and mint salad

Our international kitchen series aim to give you an authentic experience of the tastiest food cultures. Chef Tutors will explain the key ingredients used and demonstrate techniques used to prepare nourishing, flavoursome meals. You will prepare three signature dishes and sit down to a final meal of the food prepared. A complementary glass of wine will be served.
