Harborne Food School Welcome to Harborne Food School. We offer cookery classes, professional chef demonstrations and unique food experiences in our beautifully designed cookery school within the Grade II listed Clock Tower building on Harborne High Street, Birmingham. Our facilities are ideal for cooking classes, cooking demonstrations, food focus groups, food related training, private parties, private dining, team building and corporate events.

Smoking is one of the oldest and most delicious ways of preserving and flavouring a wide range of food from fish and meat to vegetables and dairy products. In her book, Smoked, Charlotte Pike, provides a go-to guide for those who want to try their hand in a modern way at this ancient technique, with a step by step guide to hot and cold smoking many delicious and iconic smoked ingredients, which are paired with recipes showing how to enjoy your smoked creations.

You will learn how to incorporate smoked ingredients (such as hot smoked mackerel, salmon, duck) into delicious salads and pates.
