Welcome to Harborne Food School. We offer cookery classes, professional chef demonstrations and unique food experiences in our beautifully designed cookery school within the Grade II listed Clock Tower building on Harborne High Street, Birmingham. Our facilities are ideal for cooking classes, cooking demonstrations, food focus groups, food related training, private parties, private dining, team building and corporate events.

Sample Itinerary

Time (duration) Activity
10.30 – 13.00 We will meet at the top of the cube for a ‘bubbles’ kick off and to take in the panoramic views of the city. Down the lifts to Harvey Nichols where we will sample their renowned mince-pies and other foodie gift ideas.
A short walk along the canal to the heart of the Christmas market where we will pick up a German inspired breakfast bite (sausage in bun, pretzel or stollen). We will arrive in the Great Western arcade and visit boutique food and drink shops like Choutechoute Chocolaterie, Loki Wine & Miss Macaroon. Then a brisk walk across town through Selfridge’s Food Hall (for more Christmas gift ideas/tastings) into China town where we may pick up ingredients for a Masterclass at Harborne Food School. (Depending upon the class chosen)
13.00 – 13.30 Travel to Edgbaston Loki
13.30 – 14.30 British cheese, charcuterie and wine tasting at the new Loki in Edgbaston
14.30 – 15.00 Travel to Harborne Food School
15.00 – 17.00 E.g.
Norman Musa ‘Amazing Malaysian’ Masterclass
Norman is a renowned Malaysian Chef, restaurateur and entrepreneur who featured on Tom Kerridge’s BBC 2 programme ‘Best Ever Dishes

Sachiko ‘Sushi’ or ‘Modern Japanese’ Masterclass
Sachiko trained in Michelin restaurants in London and has also featured on Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s ‘Veg Hero’ series

Participants will take the food they prepare home.Sachiko ‘Sushi’ or ‘Modern Japanese’ Masterclass

17.30 – 18.00 Travel to hotels to get ready for evening meal. Surprise gift bag in rooms on arrival.

Food prepared, packaged & delivered to hotels at this time or following day
